As I say in my Find a Grave profile,
"There is a story under every stone".
While photographing graves for Find A Grave or genealogy research, I have come across many interesting stories about the people buried under those tombstones. In this blog I will share some of the most interesting of these stories with you. Why? So these people will not be forgotten.

Congratulations on finding Ander’s final resting place. Yes, those cemetery employees can be a squirrelly lot. Confronted with a correction, their attitude can range from very grateful, to hostile indifference. But I usually go back to the office when I find an error. The knowledge that it may help a relative in the future find the grave, and the occasional thank you, makes it worthwhile.
As always... thanks! Another great article.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and story, Jim!
