He had read all the books in the 1920s and 1930s, and passed them on to me. They are the reason I became the person I became. My father and I grew up in a town remarkably similar to Tutter, Illinois and we could both relate to everything on every page. This is a remarkable legacy. Has the family website been taken down? Minnesota, Rose Creek. Her brothers lived the life they and my Mom read about in Leo Edwards' books. She passed her love of Jerry Todd and Poppy Ott's small town adventures to me, and I on to my boys.
